Spencer is registered to practice law in Colorado and in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. After working as a Registered Colorado Professional Engineer he became interested in the study of law. His love of learning, and growing interest in the judicial system prompted him to study law at the University of Denver Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate.
